Piano recital – Chania 16th April
The 22-year-old Cretan pianist Konstantinos Katsoulis presents a virtuoso piano recital that balances the solo and orchestral elements. At the heart of the evening are the musical forms (forme musicali), which are the basis of musical expression in every era. Although the composers start from the same traditional structures (such as the sonata and the fugue), they manage to create unique sound effects, capturing their personal style and the spirit of their era.
