Clean Monday activities on Falasarna Beach 27th February

Organised by the citizens campaign “Save Falassarna”

On February 27th, “Clean” Monday, the SAVE_FALASARNA initiative is calling for an excursion to the long beach (Pachia Ammos) in Falasarna.

Special transfers will be available by buses that will start at 10am from the municipal market square of Chania, or people can arrive under their own steam.

Meeting time: 12:00, Pachia Ammos beach, Falasarna
Archaeological and botanical tours
Games in the sand and walks along the beach.

Save Falasarna is a citizens action group, based in Chania, against the plans to build a hotel unit with 850 beds on Falasarna beach. They oppose this specific development and are fighting for free public access to the beach and the preservation of the public and social character of the beach.
