14th Festival of Taste and Art – Kissamos 16th – 22nd August

This festival has become a special  institution,  which highlights the culture, the unique advantages of the region and the pure local products. The visitor will have the opportunity to get to know Crete through the treasures offered by the land and its people, but also through a series of cultural events and concerts.
The festival  opens its gates on  16th August  and will operate from 6:30 pm to 11:30 pm at the beach of Kissamos next to the Municipal Stadium (coastal road west of the Municipal Stadium).

The Public Benefit Enterprise of the Municipality of Kissamos and the Municipality of Kissamos continue for the 14th year their efforts to highlight the region’s culture and local products through this Festival.
Artisans, cooperatives, producers, cultural associations and municipalities participate in the Festival

Cultural events, concerts will take place at the same place every night.

Entry is free for the public.

I'm Austrian living in Tavronitis, love nature, music, good books, sunsets, the sea, travelling, socializing and more. I came to Crete as a student in the early 70s, exploring the west and southwest of the island with friends by motorbike. When you are young everything is important and, there are lots of things to do...I did. Job, family,children, travelling the world. But I never lost my love for Crete for a minute. And nine years ago I ended up in this convenient corner of Crete, not only for holidays, but to stay and haven't regretted it for a minute.
