Music Walk – Traditional Street Music – Platanias 23rd July
Music and dance clubs will hold the first traditional „Strata“ – traditional street music in Platanias!
WHEN:Sunday, July 23, at 20.00
WHERE:Starting point at the office of the Cultural Association of Platanias
Visitors will have the opportunity to experience the musical tradition of the area and local nostalgic moments of the past:
rizitika, mantinades and dances along the street in Kato Platanias
The musicians will cross the main road Chania-Kissamos, starting from the offices of the Cultural Association, to get to the Santa Elena Hotel. From there the group will go to the square next to the Agios DimitriosChurch in Upper Platanias.
Everyone is welcome to join, and if you have a business along the route or live there, a little treat for the company outside your businesses or homes is welcome to make a short little stop!! ️
