O Kwarteto is a NYC- and Madrid-based female string quartet primarily dedicated to Brazilian music with jazz influence adapted to our instrumentation. They perform original arrangements of music from genres ranging from Samba and Forro (Luiz Gonzaga, Dominguinhos, Sivuca) to Chorinho (Jacob do Bandolim, Pixinguinha), MPB (Chico Buarque, Milton Nascimento, Dorival Caymmi) and Bossa Nova (Antonio Carlos Jobim).

I'm Austrian living in Tavronitis, love nature, music, good books, sunsets, the sea, travelling, socializing and more. I came to Crete as a student in the early 70s, exploring the west and southwest of the island with friends by motorbike.
