2021 Census – population registration for residents of the Municipality of Kissamos
An announcement regarding the data for the census was issued by the Municipality of Kissamos, stating a great abstention of the citizens from the process.
The announcement states:
“We point out that it is extremely important to list all the residents of the Municipality of Kissamos, as the amount of state funding that each Municipality receives to finance its basic activities depends on the number of permanent residents.
Information for the residents of the Municipality of Kissamos that those who have not yet been censored can be censored as follows:
- Online Inventory / Self Inventory
Through the platform https://gov.gr the Civic Unity or through search ‘Population – Housing 2021 – Gov.gr’ . For electronic self-registration, the unique “Copy Code” of your home/household is necessary.
2. Natural Inventory / Door to Door
- An employee of ELSTAT (Hellenic Statistical Authority)visits every residence that has not been registered electronically by applying compulsory the applicable measures to protect public health
- If the household wants an in-person interview, the completion of the questionnaire will be done either inside or outside the residence, in accordance with the current public health protection measures.
- If the household does not want an in-person interview:
The ELSTAT officer will leave the printed questionnaire for the household and will agree on the day and time of receiving the completed questionnaire,
or the ELSTAT employee will make a telephone appointment to fill in the questionnaire, through a phone interview.
If the ELSTAT employee has not yet passed, or has passed and did not find you, in any case of a problem, you can contact the municipality or send an email with your details (name, name, request address, phone) at the following online addresses:
