Feast of Saint Theodore on island Theodorou – 8th June
The island of Theodorou opposite Agia Marina is accessible only once a year!
This event is a chance to get to know this beautiful island with great ecological significance and its important role in saving the protected Cretan wild goat.
WHEN: 8th June, the first boat leaves at 7.30
WHERE: pier of Agia Marina and also port of Platanias
Transportation to the islet will start from the 2nd pier of Agia Marina (behind the Pharmacy) at 07.30, as well as from the port of Platanias. The last boat will depart for the islet at 12.30. The last departure from the islet will take place at 13.30.
The entrance fee to the boats that transport the pilgrims to the island is 10.00€ (children under 12 years old are free)
