Christoforos Stampoglis learned the French language from the famous professor, researcher and later publisher of books on learning French for Greeks, the late Cleopatra Psaraki, while in the French repertoire he was fortunate to get to know his collaborator and friend of 35 years, the excellent pianist Dimitris Giakas, who held the position of Chef du chant at the Paris Opera (Opéra Garnier) for seven years and who will accompany him in this recital, thus adding another link to the long and valuable chain of their thirty-five-year collaboration.
