Hiking afternoon – Kamisiana 10th March

The next hike, organised by the Municipality of Platanias, will take place on Sunday, 10th March, in
Kamisiana, starting at 3:30 p.m.
Meeting point: village square Kamisiana.

It is a circular route, 2.5-3 kilometers, in a green landscape, of moderate difficulty, with an estimated walking time of up to 2 hours. Light clothing, suitable shoes are recommended and take the water you will need with you.
The walk is also accompanied by the Samaritans section of the Red Cross of the local Kissamos section, for the safety of the participants. 

As stated by the Mayor of Platanias, Mr. Yiannis Malandrakis, the goal is for the citizens and visitors to explore and get to know the paths, routes and landmarks that the Municipality has highlighted and preserved, as well as areas of environmental and historical interest.
The deputy mayor for Culture, Mr. Polychronis Simantirakis said that the huge participation of the people in the recent walk shows the great interest of our fellow citizens in this action of the Municipality and he thanks the communities, the cultural associations, the Samaritans section of the Red Cross for their support.
