Aliki Vatikioti gave her first recital in New York under the auspices of the Greek Consulate in 1998 and made her Weil Hall Carnegie Hall debut in April 2002 with a solo recital. In March 2005 she appeared as a soloist in the Isaac Stern Auditorium at Carnegie Hall with the New England Symphony performing Mozart and in May 2006, with the Olympic Trio, in a concert with works by M. Theodorakis, M. Kalomiris and A. Dvorak at Weil/ Carnegie Hall.

Aliki Vatikioti was born in Chania where she took her first piano lessons at the Venizelio Conservatory of Chania from Lele Fandridou. She then studied with Spyros Faradatos at the Athens Conservatory, from where she received a piano diploma in 1955, while she continued her studies at the Munich State Music Academy with Friedrich Wuehrer and Rosl Schmid.
