Charity Chess Championship – Spilia 11th December

The Municipality of Platanias in collaboration with the Chess Academy of Chania-Samaria, the Region of Crete and the Athletic Club “Mikis Theodorakis”, are organizing the Solidarity Open Chess Championship, on Sunday, 11th December, at 10.00,
at the Cultural Centre of Spilia .
It is open to everyone who wants to compete. The participants will be divided into different groups, depending on their age and their level.
There will also be a special group for adults who want to test their chess skills, as well as a special group for the children of the Municipality of Platanias.

Participation fee: €5.00.
The total amount collected will be donated to support the Association of Voluntary Offering and Support “Orizontas”  that support children and adults suffering from cancer.

DECLARATION OF PARTICIPATION: Until the morning of Saturday 10/12 and Sunday 11/12, at the Cultural Centre of Spilia.

The winners will be awarded cups and medals for the winners of each category and commemorative diplomas will be given to all participants.
