The Cultural Association of Tavronitis welcomes you to the open air summer cinema – every Wednesday in July

The first film presented will be the 2021 film directed by Dany Boon:

About the film:
During the COVID-19 pandemic and containment, the streets of Paris are deserted. Some people have fled in the provinces,  but seven families stay at their homes at 8 rue de l’Humanité in the 11th arrondissement –

A bistro owner trying everything to open her establishment, a scientist wanting to find the vaccine, a hypochondriac and his wife, a lawyer, who is trying to reconcile her professional life and her family life, a sports coach and his 7-month pregnant wife a self-made man who is successful in business but finds out that he does not even have the grade level of his 8 year old son.
The positive effects of the cinfinement: all these inhabitants experience joys and anxieties get closer, argue, of course but reconcile.

I'm Austrian living in Tavronitis, love nature, music, good books, sunsets, the sea, travelling, socializing and more. I came to Crete as a student in the early 70s, exploring the west and southwest of the island with friends by motorbike. When you are young everything is important and, there are lots of things to do...I did. Job, family,children, travelling the world. But I never lost my love for Crete for a minute. And nine years ago I ended up in this convenient corner of Crete, not only for holidays, but to stay and haven't regretted it for a minute.
