New modern garbage truck for Kissamos

On 11th November the Municipality of Kissamos received a new garbage truck, with a capacity of 12 cubic meters.
This is due to an effort of the current Municipal Authority, with the aim of upgrading the waste collection and management services and of improving the hygiene and safety conditions of the staff, in accordance with the European Regulations.

This new garbage truck was acquired with funding provided by the “Philodimos II” programme.

In particular, the Municipality of Kissamos states in a relevant announcement:

“The supply of a new garbage truck enables us to offer better and higher quality services to our citizens, and it will solve years of garbage collection problems, as the existing vehicles are old and present operational problems.”
