In an announcement on Wednesday 10th March, the Ministry for the Interior gave the names of eight cities where the new written exams for Greek citizenship will be held in May.
The cities are: Athens, Thessaloniki, Larisa, Komotini, Ioannina, Patra, Tripoli and Heraklion.
The exams will be held on May 16.
Candidates for Greek citizenship will be tested on their knowledge of the country’s history and culture.
If less than 25 candidates are registered for the test at a particular centre, the exam will be moved to one of the other venues.
