61st Thessaloniki Film Festival goes online from 5th to 15th November

Due to the new restrictive measures to curb the spread of the coronavirus pandemic, the Thessaloniki Film Festival (TIFF) will take place online from 5th to 15th November.

Under the motto “Cinema, no matter what”, the festival will present 177 films in total, featuring the best of independent films from all over the world, recent Greek film productions, breathtaking tributes, subversive films, and classic favourite comedies, amidst these unforeseeable and unprecedented days we’re living in.

The festival will premiere on Thursday, November 5, 2020, with the film The Whale Hunter by Philipp Yuryev and will conclude on Sunday, November 15, 2020, with the screening of the film Never Gonna Snow Again by Małgorzata Szumowska and Michał Englert.

Every film is available for a limited number of viewings  destined for users residing in Greece. Tickets (€3,-) for online screenings cannot be returned of cancelled.
