Chestnut Festival – Elos 26th and 27th October

This year the  two-day Chestnut Festival  takes place on 26th and 27th October, highlighting the exceptional product of the Municipal Unit Inachorio,  with informative and entertaining events.

26th October  at the former Elementary School in the village Limni :
 an informative evening about chestnuts and traditional dishes with the chestnuts as essential ingredients.
27th of October:
the central event at the square of Elos with lectures and Cretan music and dance.

Free entrance.

I'm Austrian living in Tavronitis, love nature, music, good books, sunsets, the sea, travelling, socializing and more. I came to Crete as a student in the early 70s, exploring the west and southwest of the island with friends by motorbike.
