The artists taking part try to explore and ultimately reveal the beautifully enigmatic universe of childhood, forgotten by adults.
Through their works the artists highlight the theme childhood in  Greek society, the children’s demands and the investments made by the parents in their children.

The artists, through their works, try to decode, as far as possible, the complexity that characterizes childhood, opening up a dialogue with both the modern family and the educational community.

The exhibition will be held in collaboration with the Regional Unit of Rethymno,   KAM Chania, the Parents ‘Association of the 1st Primary School of Rethymno and the Teachers’ Association of the 1st Primary School of Rethymnon.
The main objective is to support the activities of the Organization “The Smile of the Child”.

Parallel to the exhibition there will be educational programs and activities for children, parents,  and teachers.

I'm Austrian living in Tavronitis, love nature, music, good books, sunsets, the sea, travelling, socializing and more. I came to Crete as a student in the early 70s, exploring the west and southwest of the island with friends by motorbike. When you are young everything is important and, there are lots of things to do...I did. Job, family, children, travelling the world. But I never lost my love for Crete for a minute. And seven years ago I ended up in this convenient corner of Crete, not only for holidays, but to stay and haven't regretted it for a minute.
