Music in Liturgy for Solo Cello – Chania 29th December

Michael Heupel, a sought-after soloist and chamber musician, performs in Chania in the Catholic Church!

This year, there will be thoughts created during the difficult yet interesting year, observing the musical culture around the world. What are the responsibilities of an artist and what obstacles does he meet, and, ultimately, every creative person in today’s era?
The musical works, all for a solo cello, all from different seasons and cultures, were collected during two trips around the world in 2018, each offering its own answers.
