Anniversary event: 30 years Hellenic-French Association in Chania, tribute to
Karolos Kampelopoulos and inauguration of the Art and Culture Centre of the Kampelopoulos Foundation:
Wednesday, 24th October 18.00 at the Mikis Theodorakis Theater (Old Customs Office), Venetian Harbour , Chania.
and
at 19.30 Reception at the “Karolos Monastery“, Hatzimichalis Dalianis 22, first floor, by Karolos Kampelopoulos.
Programme:
– Overview of the cultural, social and educational activities over the past 3 decades
– Karolos Kampelopoulos will be honored and his work will be presented.
– Music: tenor Panos Yamboulladakis (piano – voice), Takis Dimitropoulos (guitar – voice) and students of the Music School of Chania.
Inauguration of the Art and Culture Centre of the Kambelopoulos Foundation:
presenting works of sculpture, painting and pottery of Karolos.
(Karolos – his Life and Arts – a Lifetime in a Timeline, He is perhaps one of the greatest personalities in the field of hairdressing and sculpture of the 20th century)
The event will be attended by the Ambassador of France to Greece, Christophe Chantepy.
