Wine Festival in Vouves 11th and 12th August

The Cultural Association of Vouves invites you to the Wine Festival, which takes place for the 34th consecutive year, an event devoted to the long tradition of the village in winemaking. The region of Vouves is famous for its excellent quality wine, which is offered free of charge to the visitors.

WHEN: 10th and 11th August 21.00
WHERE: Courtyard of Primary School, Vouves
Entrance fee: € 5 (children up to 12 years free of charge)

Music: Nikos Zoidakis and band on 10th August
Kostas Fiotakis and band on 11th August
On each day a folklore dancing group is performing as well.

I'm Austrian living in Tavronitis, love nature, music, good books, sunsets, the sea, travelling, socializing and more. I came to Crete as a student in the early 70s, exploring the west and southwest of the island with friends by motorbike. When you are young everything is important and, there are lots of things to do...I did. Job, family,children, travelling the world. But I never lost my love for Crete for a minute.
