Music event: “Rock Under The Clock 2018” – Chania 13th August

The “Rock Under the Clock” Festival in Chania  – for the third year!

Woodtales:
They started in the summer of 2010 with Classic Rock and Hard Rock. Now, eight years later, with some changes, their sound is strongly influenced by Pink Floyd, Led Zeppelin etc.

Meridian Blank:
 a new student band from Chania, mainly influenced by the foreign Post Rock scene, with progressive elements.

Sunrise Sunset
Sunrise Sunset is a band launched by the Music School of Chania as “Total Musical Expression and Improvisation” in 2012 with Professor Aris Dova. Since then, the band’s composition has changed many times and today it is composed of keyboards, drums, bass guitar and voice. With influences from Miles Davis, Herbie Hancock,  the Blues Brothers and others, Sunrise Sunset focuses mainly on improvisation of the Funk and Blues scene, on well-known pieces of music but also perform their own compositions.
