WINERIES OF CRETE: “Open Cellar Doors” 26th and 27th May
Wine lovers and visitors all around Crete will have the opportunity to gain a unique tasting experience by participating in the “Open Cellar Doors” , organized by the Wine Producers’ Associations and their wineries.
On Saturday May 26th and Sunday May 27th 2018, from 11.00 in the morning to 19.00 in the afternoon, winelovers will be given the opportunity to tour around the Wine Roads of Greece and participate in multiple activities which include tours, tasting, competitions with great prizes and other surprises.
Admission to wineries on 26-27 May is free.
Bring Your Own Wine – Open Cellar Days – Restaurants:
You can buy a wine from a winery in Crete, and you can enjoy it with your meal in a Cretan restaurant, just by showing your receipt.
“Open Cellar Doors” is an initiative of the European network of wine cities, in which Greece participates. The aim of this initiative is to get people acquainted with Greek/Cretan wine and winemakers.
