The m.i.k.r.o. quintet  for the first time as a chamber music formation in Chania! Their first musical project includes coverings from well-known operas. The show includes a visual presentation!

The m.i.k.r.o. quintet is a set of chamber music by wooden wind instruments and string  instruments. The musicians met in Chania and decided to combine their artistic and musical concerns after they realized they were a group of friends with a common musical orientation. The  aim of the quintet is to present thematic musical pieces, small projects, with musical adaptations adapted for flute, clarinet, violin and cello.

This is how the idea of ​​the name “m.i.k.r.o. quintet” was born,  a small musical group, small projects, and the initials of the members’names s!

I'm Austrian living in Tavronitis, love nature, music, good books, sunsets, the sea, travelling, socializing and more. I came to Crete as a student in the early 70s, exploring the west and southwest of the island with friends by motorbike. When you are young everything is important and, there are lots of things to do...I did. Job, family,children, travelling the world. But I never lost my love for Crete for a minute. And nine years ago I ended up in this convenient corner of Crete, not only for holidays, but to stay and haven't regretted it for a minute.
