Sunday 25th March at 19.00 at the KAM

The Italian Film Festival ends with  the film “The Friends at the Margherita Bar “  (Gli amici del bar Margherita ), an Italian comedy-drama film, directed by Pupi Avati, which takes to Bologna. 25 MarchGreek subtitles.
Music by Lucio Dalla (whose songs I like very  much !)

 

All the films will be featured with Greek subtitles.Free entry  on 4 Sundays in March,  starting at 7 PM in the KAM screening room.

Sunday 11th March at 19:00 in the same room: “The 1000 Euro Generation”, shot in Milan, is a comedy about the  economic insecurity of the thirties
March 18 at 19.00 in the KAM Hall: “The Last Pulcinella”, a story of the relationship between a young Neapolitan,   in search of new creative inspirations and a life far away from his hometown, and a father who hardly manages to survive as a street artist.

Sunday 25th March at 19.00 at the KAM: “Friends of the Margarita Bar”, which will take us to Bologna in 1954, directed by Poupi Avati

The 4th Festival “One Month with Italian Cinema” is organized by the Association “Friends of Italy” under the auspices of the Italian Cultural Institute of Athens in cooperation with the Municipality of Chania and KEPPEDIK KAM.

I'm Austrian living in Tavronitis, love nature, music, good books, sunsets, the sea, travelling, socializing and more. I came to Crete as a student in the early 70s, exploring the west and southwest of the island with friends by motorbike. When you are young everything is important and, there are lots of things to do...I did. Job, family,children, travelling the world. But I never lost my love for Crete for a minute. And nine years ago I ended up in this convenient corner of Crete, not only for holidays, but to stay and haven't regretted it for a minute.
