Blue Flag beaches in Kissamos

Three beaches in Kissamos region were awarded the Blue Flag: The beach of Mavros Molos, and two beaches in Falassarna, Pachia Ammos 1 & 2.

To mark the occasion, two ceremonies, attended by the Mayor of Kissamos and a number of other officials, were arranged by the Municipality of Kissamos.

The “Blue Flag”, a symbol of quality in over 50 countries today, is awarded with strict criteria to organized beaches operated by coastal municipalities and other entities.
