Painting contest for children ‘The Earth… our Home’ – Chania, entries until 2nd March

The Municipality of Chania and KEPPEDIH – CAM organize a painting contest themed “Earth…our home” for the children of the 5th and 6th grades of the Primary Schools of the Municipality of Chania

1. Conditions of the contest:

a. Topic: “The Earth…our home”
b. Painting size: 20cm X 20cm
c. Style: free (except collage)
d. The paintings must be submitted individually, and each child can participate with only one.
e. The name of the child, the school and the class should be written behind each painting.

2. Submission of entries:

• until Monday 2nd of March 2020, 14.00

• Paintings are delivered at:
Centre of Mediterranean Architecture, Akti Enoseos and Katehaki Sq., Old Port of Chania

• Days and Hours for delivery:
Monday to Friday 09.00 – 14.00

The paintings will be evaluated by the artistic committee of the Municipal Art Gallery of Chania.

3. Awards

• The best three works will figure on the pages of the brochure of the schedule of events of the “Cultural Summer Festival – Chania 2020”
• The prizes for the top-rated works will be two free tickets for each children’s show that will be held at the Eastern Moat Theatre.
• There will be a special ceremony in which every child will be awarded a certificate of participation.
