‘KIPOS’ OPEN AIR SUMMER CINEMA – Chania until 20th September – Programme
‘Cinema under the Stars’ – The Municipal Garden Cinema, open air cinema, the city’s historic summer cinema, has opened its doors to the public again!
The Municipal Garden Cinema is an oasis of coolness and entertainment for all ages during the summer months.
WHERE: Municipal Cinema Garden – KIPOS, Papandreou, Chania
WHEN: until 20th September
Screening Times:
From May 25 to July 26, movies start at 9:30 PM.
From July 27 to September 20, they start at 9:00 PM.
Tickets:
General entrance: €5; reduced: €2 (students, unemployed, families with three or more children, over 65s, disabled).
Tickets are sold only via card or online payments, either at the cinema box office or online at: https://www.ticketservices.gr.
The Kipos Municipal Cinema will operate until 20th September 2026, with daily showings and a rich programme which includes films for all ages and all cinematic interests.
Specifically:
— Every Monday and Tuesday children’s films will be shown.
— Every Wednesday and Thursday the programme will be devoted to cinephile showings, with selected films from Greece and abroad.
