Kostas Kyritsakis with the four-string Cretan lyra, Kostas Makakis with the Cretan lute and George Zacharioudakis with lutes from Ireland, Crete and India perform motifs of the Irish musical tradition, from the first compositions of Turlough O’Carolan, in the late 1600 AD , to the creations of modern representatives of Celtic music.
With references also to the musical tradition of Crete, they create a special musical dialogue with Cretan motifs, in a very rare musical effect.

They cooperate on stage at the Cultural Center of Chania with the numerous participants in the program, “The Art of Rhythm” for “ORIZONTAS”.

Lydia

I'm Austrian living in Tavronitis, love nature, music, good books, sunsets, the sea, travelling, socializing and more. I came to Crete as a student in the early 70s, exploring the west and southwest of the island with friends by motorbike. When you are young everything is important and, there are lots of things to do...I did. Job, family, children, travelling the world. But I never lost my love for Crete for a minute. And nine years ago I ended up in this convenient corner of Crete, not only for holidays, but to stay and haven't regretted it for a minute.
