Voluntary Beach Cleaning – Viglia /Kissamos 30th March

The Municipality of Kissamos in collaboration with the New Commercial Association of Kissamos, the Red Cross, the Gramvousa Association and the Youth of Kissamos are organizing a voluntary clean-up on the Gramvousa beachfront, Viglia beach, on Sunday, 30th March at 9:00.

WHERE: starting point : Viglia beach playground (pass the port of kissamos and then immediately turn right)
(Disposable bags and gloves will be provided)

Invoking your volunteer spirit and ecological awareness, we ask for some of your precious free time to help clean the coast from solid waste, thus strengthening the effort to highlight the beauty of our coasts.

I'm Austrian living in Tavronitis, love nature, music, good books, sunsets, the sea, travelling, socializing and more. I came to Crete as a student in the early 70s, exploring the west and southwest of the island with friends by motorbike. When you are young everything is important and, there are lots of things to do...I did. Job, family,children, travelling the world. But I never lost my love for Crete for a minute. And nine years ago I ended up in this convenient corner of Crete, not only for holidays, but to stay and haven't regretted it for a minute.
