Wine Festival in Vouves 8th and 9th August

The Cultural Association of Vouves invites you to the traditional Wine Festival, on 8th and 9th August,  21.00, in the yard of the Primary School in Kato Vouves. It is a thematic event, which is dedicated to the village’s centuries-old tradition in viticulture and its excellent quality wine, which is offered free of charge to the visitors of  the festival. 
Music:
Thursday, 8th August 8 by the Cretan band of Giorgos Fratzeskakis & Stratakis Giorgos  
Friday, 9th August by  Zoidakis Nikos and his band.

Entrance Price: €6. Children up to 10 years free.

I came to Crete as a student in the early 70s, exploring the west and southwest of the island with friends by motorbike.
