The Region of Crete in collaboration with the Municipality of Chania and KEPPEDICH-KAM invite you
on Thursday, December 28, at 21:00 at the “Mikis Theodorakis” Theatre to a piano recital by Dimitris Droubogiannis
with works of classical music by Greek composers.
Free entrance.

A special musical journey, , for solo piano, with great classical works, by charismatic and renowned musicians (Dimitris Kapsomenou, Manos Hatzidakis, Thanos Mikroutsikou, Mikis Theodorakis).

Musical compositions that range from minimalism and dodecaphony to the transformation of traditional musical themes into virtuosic self-contained narrative units.

This unique Greek pianistic oeuvre unites and composes a musical mosaic of timbres, techniques and musical currents, with the expressive pluralism of the piano as the main reason.

I'm Austrian living in Tavronitis, love nature, music, good books, sunsets, the sea, travelling, socializing and more. I came to Crete as a student in the early 70s, exploring the west and southwest of the island with friends by motorbike. When you are young everything is important and, there are lots of things to do...I did. Job, family,children, travelling the world. But I never lost my love for Crete for a minute. And nine years ago I ended up in this convenient corner of Crete, not only for holidays, but to stay and haven't regretted it for a minute.
