Concert: Christmas Carols – Chania 20th December

The “Ioannis Manioudakis” Conservatory, in collaboration with KEPPEDICH-KAM and the Municipality of Chania, are organizing a festive concert with Christmas carols:

WHEN: Wednesday, 20th December at 19.00
WHERE: KAM (Center of Mediterranean Architecture), Venetian Harbour, Chania
Free entrance.

Participating:
Vocal and instrumental ensembles, the string and wind orchestra, the children’s youth choir, and the Byzantine Dance Group of Chania.

The event takes place in the context of the festive events of the Municipality of Chania.

The Conservatory of Ioannis Manioudakis was founded in Chania with the main aim of promoting classical musical education of young people, disseminating and preserving the Greek traditional music heritage. Each year dozens of concerts of high-quality presentations are performed and appearances that cover all kinds of music. In cooperation with the local institutions, it contributes successfully and creatively to the musical and cultural events of our country.

I'm Austrian living in Tavronitis, love nature, music, good books, sunsets, the sea, travelling, socializing and more. I came to Crete as a student in the early 70s, exploring the west and southwest of the island with friends by motorbike. When you are young everything is important and, there are lots of things to do...I did. Job, family,children, travelling the world. But I never lost my love for Crete for a minute. And nine years ago I ended up in this convenient corner of Crete, not only for holidays, but to stay and haven't regretted it for a minute.
