The Music Festival will be held from September 5 until 7 September at the Mikis Theodorakis Theatre, Venetian Harbour, Chania:

Program
Tuesday, September 5, 20:00: Opening and concert “Zero” by Fenia Christou (piano), Alexis Bove (cello) and Christos Garmpidakis .
21:00 – Stavros Lantsias concert

Wednesday, September 6 Workshops
12:00: “Extended cello technics and its use in the 20th and 21st century works” (EN), with Alexis Bove
14:00 – Interactive workshop (GR, EN): “Piano and Electronics (Ableton Live, Virtual Instruments…) in the musical production”, with Christos Garmpidakis, Nikos Sotiropoulos and Fenia Christou

Concert
21:00: Angelos Theodorakis-Papangelidis on poems of Andreas Kalvos, Dionysios Solomos and Lord Byron
21:30: Fenia Christou (piano) and Alexis Bove (cello)

I'm Austrian living in Tavronitis, love nature, music, good books, sunsets, the sea, travelling, socializing and more. I came to Crete as a student in the early 70s, exploring the west and southwest of the island with friends by motorbike. When you are young everything is important and, there are lots of things to do...I did. Job, family,children, travelling the world. But I never lost my love for Crete for a minute. And nine years ago I ended up in this convenient corner of Crete, not only for holidays, but to stay and haven't regretted it for a minute.
