Puppet theatre performance “Fasoulis” (Φασουλής) at the Cultural Association in Tavronitis.

Fasoulis is a glove puppet and is said to be the direct ‘brother’ of the Italian Fagiolino (and of course a member of the large family of Pulchinella, Kasper, Petruska, etc.). He arrived in Greece from Italy in 1840.

I'm Austrian living in Tavronitis, love nature, music, good books, sunsets, the sea, travelling, socializing and more. I came to Crete as a student in the early 70s, exploring the west and southwest of the island with friends by motorbike.
