The three internationally renowned musicians form a special and somewhat unusual trio. Central to their music are the stringed instruments. The lyre played by Ross Daly and Kelly Thomas. The lyre usually exists as a solo instrument and it is very rare that two lyres play together. Alongside the lyres is Pedram Khavarzamini’s tombak, an Iranian percussion instrument that is the main rhythmic instrument of Persian classical music.

The tombak due to its great potential and the highly developed rhythmic tradition of its country is easily adapted to other musical styles.
Pedram Khavarzamini is considered one of the leading representatives of this instrument today and has played with a very wide range of musicians from all over the world.

The music they will play is composed by Ross Daly and Kelly Thoma.

I'm Austrian living in Tavronitis, love nature, music, good books, sunsets, the sea, travelling, socializing and more. I came to Crete as a student in the early 70s, exploring the west and southwest of the island with friends by motorbike. When you are young everything is important and, there are lots of things to do...I did. Job, family, children, travelling the world. But I never lost my love for Crete for a minute. And nine years ago I ended up in this convenient corner of Crete, not only for holidays, but to stay and haven't regretted it for a minute.
