Traditional Wine Festival in Vouves – 12th and 13th August
The Cultural Association of Vouves invites you to their traditional Wine Festival:
12th and 13th August at 21.00 in the courtyard of the Primary School in Vouves.
This is a thematic event, which is dedicated to the village’s centuries-old tradition in viticulture and its excellent wines offered free of charge to the visitors of the celebration.
Friday, 12th August:
Cretan band of Nikos Zoidakis, with traditional dances of the “Psiloritis” dance club.
Saturday, 13th August:
Kostas Fiotakis is performing with his music group, with the participation of the “Pelasgoi” dance club.
Entrance (wine included) : €6. Children up to 12 years free.
About Vouves:
Vouves is a fertile village, with a long wine growing tradition, located near Kolymbari, and 26 kilometers west of Chania.
Close to Vouves there is the village Ano Vouves, where visitors can admire the monumental ancient olive tree and visit the Olive Tree Museum.
