The Art Flow Studio Gallery, in collaboration with the Municipality of Paleochora Kantanos-Selinos, in Crete, organizes an International Art and Exhibition Competition.
The exhibition with the works of the finalists will take place from May 14 to May 22
at the Art Flow Gallery Gallery in Paleochora, Crete
Registration closes on April 10, 2022
The presentation of the award will take place on Sunday, May 22, 2022 and the Mayor of Paleochora will present all the awards.
In case of restrictions due to the pandemic, the art competition can be held online.
1st prize – € 500
2nd prize – Exhibition one week
3rd prize – One week exhibition
Theme 2022: “Light and darkness”
We live in a world that is revealed to us through light and shadow. We assume that light and darkness are opposite polarities, but when they meet, they fit together perfectly, creating harmony and not friction. The one complements the other.
“To see the light of a candle you need to put it in a dark place. The contrast of light and darkness (white and black, day and night) has a long tradition of metaphorical and metaphysical use, traceable in the ancient Middle East and clarity in the Pythagorean table of opposites.
Through art and nature we see the qualities of light and darkness always creating and incorporating a society of contrast.
They replace each other with a mutual transformation.
Every polarity always implies or requires the presence of the opposite. Black / White, “Foreground / Background” ..

Η Art Flow Studio Gallery, σε συνεργασία με το Δήμο Παλαιόχωρας Καντάνου-Σελίνου,στην Κρήτης, διοργανώνουν Διαγωνισμό Διεθνές Τέχνης και Έκθεσης.
Η έκθεση με τα έργα των φιναλίστ θα λάβει χώρα από τις 14 Μαΐου έως τις 22 Μαΐου στην Art Flow Gallery Galleryστην Παλαιόχωρα της Κρήτης
Η εγγραφή κλείνει στις 10 Απριλίου 2022
Η παρουσίαση του βραβείου θα γίνει την Κυριακή 22 Μαΐου 2022 και ο Δήμαρχος της Παλαιόχωρας θα παρουσιάσει όλα τα βραβεία.
Σε περίπτωση περιορισμών, λόγω πανδημίας, ο καλλιτεχνικός διαγωνισμός μπορεί να πραγματοποιηθεί διαδικτυακά .
1ο βραβείο – €500
2ο βραβείο – Έκθεση μία εβδομάδα
3ο βραβείο – Έκθεση μιας εβδομάδας
Θέμα 2022: “ Φως και σκοτάδι”
Ζούμε σε ένα κόσμο που μας αποκαλύπτεται μέσα από το φώς και την σκιά. Υποθέτουμε ότι το φώς και το σκοτάδι είναι αντίθετες πολικότητες, όμως όταν συναντώνται, ταιριάζουν τέλεια, δημιουργώντας αρμονία και όχι τριβή. Το ένα συμπληρώνει το άλλο.
“Για να δείτε το φώς ενός κεριού χρειάζεται να το βάλετε σε ένα σκοτεινό μέρος. ” Η αντίθεση φώς και σκοτάδι (λευκού και μαύρου , μέρα και νύχτα ) έχει μακρά παράδοση μεταφορικής και μεταφυσικής χρήσης, ανιχνεύσιμη στην αρχαία Μέση Ανατολή και σαφήνεια στον πίνακα αντιθέτων του Πυθαγόρα.
Μέσα από την τέχνη και την φύση βλέπουμε τις ποιότητες του φωτός και του σκότους να δημιουργούν και να ενσωματώνουν πάντα μια κοινωνία αντίθεσης.
Αντικαθιστούν το ένα τ’ άλλο με έναν αμοιβαίο μετασχηματισμό.
Κάθε πολικότητα πάντα συνεπάγεται ή απαιτεί την παρουσία του αντίθετου. Μαύρο/Άσπρο, “Προσκήνιο/Παρασκήνιο”..
