Other ways people are helping Ukrainians:
Some people have been booking airbnbs (without intention of travelling) in Ukraine as a way to send funds directly to Ukrainians. Airbnb has waived fees for bookings in Ukraine.

A network of volunteers are already providing open-source intelligence about military movements and actions in Ukraine. Bellingcat is an established OSINT provider and has been working in Syria and other war regions prior to the Ukraine invasion.

You can also donate to other organisations offering humanitarian relief in Ukraine. Global citizen has a good list, and other suggestions for action.

Most importantly, don’t lose hope. The only thing necessary for the triumph of evil is that good (people) should do nothing.
