ANEK LINES cancels Saturday route Chania – Piraeus

Due to the high fuel prices, Greek ferry company ANEK Lines has announced that its Saturday itineraries for the next few weeks will be cancelled.
The route from Chania to Piraeus (Athens) and back to Chania will not be operating on March 19, March 26, April 2, or April 9.

Starting from April 19, the Saturday itinerary will resume. It has not been decided yet if any other itineraries will be cancelled after Easter (April 24) or if the Saturday schedule will continue normally.

Lydia

I'm Austrian living in Tavronitis, love nature, music, good books, sunsets, the sea, travelling, socializing and more. I came to Crete as a student in the early 70s, exploring the west and southwest of the island with friends by motorbike. When you are young everything is important and, there are lots of things to do...I did. Job, family, children, travelling the world. But I never lost my love for Crete for a minute. And six years ago I ended up in this convenient corner of Crete, not only for holidays, but to stay and haven't regretted it for a minute.
