“Santa Claus Workshop” and concert: Chania 17th December 2021 to 9th January 2022

Come and get to know the “Santa Claus Workshop” and get a taste of the magic of Christmas!

The “Santa Claus Workshop” in Chania opens its gates at the Grand Arsenal (KAM) and invites you to the big concert with the “Yellow Bicycles” at Katehaki Square, on Friday, 17thDecember at 20.00.

The “Santa Claus Workshop” will be open daily from 17thDecember to 9thJanuary,  10 am to 10 pm,with free admission.

The Municipality of Chania and the K.E.P.E.D.H. – Κ.Α.Μ.  welcome you to the emblematic Mediterranean Architecture Centre, in the heart of the Venetian Port.

From December 17, 2021 until January 9, 2022, the Grand Arsenal is transformed into the “Santa Claus Workshop”. The Christmas atmosphere spreads throughout the building.

The ground floor of the building will house the workshop of Santa Run Chania and moving figures. On the 2nd floor you will find games, constructions, activities, storytelling, concerts within the framework of the action “Window with a view” and small houses with sweets, treats, gifts …

Cultural events (screenings, concerts, performances) will also take place daily at the “Mikis Theodorakis” Theatre at 20:00.

During all the actions, all the current COVID-19 measures will be observed to prevent the spread of coronavirus disease.

I came to Crete as a student in the early 70s, exploring the west and southwest of the island with friends by motorbike. When you are young everything is important and, there are lots of things to do...I did. Job, family,children, travelling the world. But I never lost my love for Crete for a minute.
