Ebike Guided Tour: Theriso Gorge

Tuesday 9am, June 1st, 2021. Start from Perivolia, Chania.

A guided e-bike ride into Theriso gorge and the foothills of the White Mountains

Rocky cliffs, lush vegetation, mountain conifer woods.

We climb up the quiet winding road with ease thanks to the electric bikes until Theriso village, home to a history of Cretan revolution.

Then we continue into the impressive cypress woods against the backdrop of the White Mountains. We descend via mountain villages, drinking the cool water from the mountain springs.

We return to the starting point amongst the orange and avocado trees of the valley.

Meet in Perivolia, Chania. Pickup from Kissamos, Platanias area and Chania town possible.

Distance: about 40km. Estimated duration of the excursion: about 4 hours, including breaks.
