State of dam reservoirs in Crete

It has been recently pointed out that many of the big dam reservoirs on Crete are completely full.

In an article about the reservoirs managed by the company OAK AE, the Amari Dam reservoir serving Rethymno area and the Agios Giorgos reservoir serving the Lasithi area are 100% full, while the Aposelemi Dam reservoir in the Chersoniso-Malia area East of Heraklio is 98% full.

An exception to this list is the Valsamioti Dam reservoir in the Platanias-Chania area, which has a capacity of over 5 million m3, but is sitting almost empty at only 17% capacity because of inflow issues.
