Feast of Saint Theodore on island Theodorou – 8th June

The island  of Theodorou opposite Agia Marina is accessible only once a year!
This  event is a chance to get to know this beautiful island with great ecological significance and its important role in saving the protected Cretan wild goat.

With approval of the Forest Service and the Port Authority of Chania  the traditional celebration of the Church of Agios Theodoros on the island of  Theodorou is taking place on Monday, 8th June.
The Monday of the Holy Spirit (‘Agios Pnevmatos’) is a national holiday in Greece.

WHEN: 8th June, first boat leaves at 07.30
WHERE:  pier of Agia Marina

The Cultural Association  will offer  free treats and water.

The entrance to the boats for the departure to the island and the return must comply with all the rules of hygiene, therefore the use of a mask and gloves is mandatory.
Also for the same reason the capacity of the boats will be at 2/3.

This has led to an increase in ticket prices :

Adults; 7.00 euros
Children: 5.00 euros
