Voluntary cleaning action: Venetian Port – Chania 30th May

The Municipal Port Fund of Chania (Δημοτικό Λιμενικό Ταμείο Χανίων) invites any volunteers to take part in the voluntary cleaning of the seabed of the Venetian Port  on Saturday 30th May  at 09.00
Everyone can participate, assisting either by land or by sea. In particular, divers, volunteer groups or individual volunteers, support groups on land , etc. are welcomed to take part in cleaning.

The President of the Municipal Port Fund, Manolis Kotsifakis points out: “Our Venetian Port is not only of touristic importance, it is a monument of great historical importance. Maintaining its cleanliness and aesthetics is the duty of all of us. Moreover,  it is the lung of entrepreneurship in the Old Town, which is why we call on those who can take part in the voluntary cleaning action, to take the step “.
