Thanks to all for your participation and great help in favour of a clean environment!
A special thank you to the English team who cleared the mess further west of the Tavronitis main beach, towards, respectively in Kamisiana!

As  the 8th March was the International Women’s Day, the women taking part were invited to a free facial treatment by the Aesthetic Cosmetics Branch of the vocational evening school EPAL in Tavronitis, on 12th March.
Due to the closure of schools and measures in favour of public health because of the Coronavirus this invitation has been suspended.

There was a report  about this volunteer environmental activity in the newspaper Seliniotika Nea.

I'm Austrian living in Tavronitis, love nature, music, good books, sunsets, the sea, travelling, socializing and more. I came to Crete as a student in the early 70s, exploring the west and southwest of the island with friends by motorbike. When you are young everything is important and, there are lots of things to do...I did. Job, family, children, travelling the world. But I never lost my love for Crete for a minute. And nine years ago I ended up in this convenient corner of Crete, not only for holidays, but to stay and haven't regretted it for a minute.
