About the documentary:
“Life … the Other Way”. In Thessaloniki, a city heavily burdened by the financial crisis, more than 420 citizens came together following the motto “We’re taking our food into our own hands”.
The non-profit Social Consumer Cooperative ‘Life Coop’ since 2013 has been offering  local products, without intermediaries. It operates on the principles of direct democracy, social and solidarity economy with the aim of proposing another business model. It is an example that shows us “other ways” of the future.
Directed by: Giannis Kolaxizis, Dimitris Papadopoulos
Release Date: March 2019

CO-WORKING SPACE:

So, on Monday 30th December from 11.00-15.00,  grab your laptop and join us while co-working at a beautiful historic space near the sea !
Wi-fi will be available.

I'm Austrian living in Tavronitis, love nature, music, good books, sunsets, the sea, travelling, socializing and more. I came to Crete as a student in the early 70s, exploring the west and southwest of the island with friends by motorbike. When you are young everything is important and, there are lots of things to do...I did. Job, family, children, travelling the world. But I never lost my love for Crete for a minute. And nine years ago I ended up in this convenient corner of Crete, not only for holidays, but to stay and haven't regretted it for a minute.
