Eleni and Suzana Vougioukli will give a concert at the the Monumental Olive Tree,  in Ano Vouves, as part of the “Land-Culture-Tourism Festival” of the Cultural Summer 2019 – a  musical journey to the Songs of the Roots with beloved music from the Mediterranean.

I'm Austrian living in Tavronitis, love nature, music, good books, sunsets, the sea, travelling, socializing and more. I came to Crete as a student in the early 70s, exploring the west and southwest of the island with friends by motorbike. When you are young everything is important and, there are lots of things to do...I did. Job, family,children, travelling the world. But I never lost my love for Crete for a minute. And nine years ago I ended up in this convenient corner of Crete, not only for holidays, but to stay and haven't regretted it for a minute.

    I am a visiting Artist here in Crete and last night on the 27th August was most certainly the best evening so far as I witnessed and has the pleasure to see and hear these two amazing cosmic Angels Eleni and Suzana Vougioukli sing with such beauty and pure talent and amazed me so much and many more people who came along to the event. Words cannot express fully how breath taking these sisters truly are, all I can say is God bless the heavens for sending here on Earth such Artist’s . Artist to Artist’s God bless you Eleni and Suzana, keep creating and love your unique style. Theoharry Zoumides
