▶ This year the Cretan World Music Festival and the organizers of the very successful Sampajana Jazz Festival are collaborating and will be holding the Cretan World Music Festival at the stunning San Salvador Bastion in the old town of Chania.
▶ With the inspirational input of truly great, internationally recognized groups, the aim is to present authentic collaborations with a common theme in Crete.
▶ The Cretan World music Festival is far-reaching and includes:
Awareness of the cultural elements and tourism;
The exchange of creativity and diverse cultures .
Amongst these are also holders of Grammy awards.
▶ This festival will be a musical experience the audience will not want to miss, creating lasting wonderful memories for everyone taking place.
▶ Performers taking part in this festival are from around the globe: Argentina, Uruguay, Alaska, Holland, Spain, Cuba, USA, Armenia, Venezuela, Turkey, Holland, Germany and Greece.
▶ We chose the location of San Salvador because it is a stunning location in the heart of the old town, overlooking the old harbor and the old town itself.
▶ The bands performing are all highly exclaimed international musicians, some hold Grammy awards.
