The Agricultural August  2019 – “Get to know local products and consume local products” – starts on 30th July 20.00 and will last until 6th August.
Venue: Square 1866, Chania
Opening hours: daily 10.00 – 22.00

20.30: Music by Nikos Gonianakis and  his band, and dances of  the folklore dance group Kriti

The Cretan festival “Agricultural August 2018” promotes unique local products and Cretan musical culture.
You will have the chance to taste Cretan products and to get information about  famous traditional recipes.
Every night Cretan traditional music bands with well- known singers and dancers are performing.

I'm Austrian living in Tavronitis, love nature, music, good books, sunsets, the sea, travelling, socializing and more. I came to Crete as a student in the early 70s, exploring the west and southwest of the island with friends by motorbike. When you are young everything is important and, there are lots of things to do...I did. Job, family,children, travelling the world. But I never lost my love for Crete for a minute. And nine years ago I ended up in this convenient corner of Crete, not only for holidays, but to stay and haven't regretted it for a minute.
