Better waste management – Household Recycling Bins offered by Municipality Kissamos

Within the framework of the initiative for better waste management, increased recycling rates and sorting rubbish at source, the Municipality of Kissamos provides private households with special recycling bins suitable for indoor use (homes, school halls , public buildings, offices, hotels) and outdoors (balconies, terraces, gardens).

Call 2822340200 (Mayor’s Secretariat) and get the Household Recycle Bin from the Town Hall.

• Strengthening the effort to develop recycling awareness among citizens.
• Raising awareness about the recycling of different materials
• Increase in the collection of recyclable materials, resulting in the reduction of the quantity of mixed waste.
• Easier separation of recyclable materials from other garbage within buildings (sorting at source)
